‘Everybody knows’ to be screened at 5 Int’l Film Festivals

Iran film ‘Everybody knows’ is to go on silver screen at 5 International Film Festivals.

Iran film ‘Everybody knows’ has been scheduled to go on the silver screen at 5 International Film Festivals.

Directed by veteran Iranian director Asghar Farhadi, ‘Everybody Knows’ is to participate in 5 international Film Festivals including:

 -Sarajevo International Film Festival in Bosnia and Herzegovina, August 10-17, 2018.

-CPH PIX International Film Festival in Copenhagen, Denmark, September 27-October 10, 2018.

-Atlanta International Film Festival in Turkey, September 28, 2018.

-Morelia International Film Festival in Iberian Peninsula, Mexico, October 20-28, 2018.

 -Stockholm International Film festival in Sweden, November 18, 2018.

The film has been shot entirely in Spanish on the Iberian Peninsula. It is about Laura, who lives with her husband and children in Buenos Aires. When they return together to her native village in Spain for a family celebration, an unexpected event changes the course of their lives.

'Everybody Knows' is Farhadi’s second film shot outside Iran. In 2012, he directed 'The Past' in French language in Paris. 'The Past' brought its star, Berenice Bejo, the Palme d’Or for best actress in 2013.

Farhadi won his first Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film with 'A Separation' in 2012. In 2017, his film 'The Salesman' also received the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film.
